About ICAST 2021

Science and technological developments are currently playing a remarkable contribution in the life of modern society across the world, and scientific knowledge becomes more impactful across numerous domains of society than at any time ever. Universities and Technology Institutes have been playing a significant role in these developments through teaching, research and community services activities, and organizing research conferences. In line with this, thus, Bahir Dar Institute of Technology (BiT) is organizing the 9th International Conference on Advancements of Science and Technology (ICAST-2021).

The conference will be held on August 27–29, 2021 in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia. This conference provides a comprehensive platform for scientists, researchers, engineers and practitioners in the academia and institutes, and experts from the industry to present the latest technological advancements, research findings, innovations, and applications in all aspects of science and technology for the scientific contribution and setting out directions of further studies.

The conference aims to bring together leading research scholars, academic scientists, and researchers working in different disciplines to exchange knowledge and experiences. It also fosters the generation of new ideas and helps to strengthen future institutional and research collaborations and networks between researchers in the academia and experts from the industry. Therefore, professionals from the industry, business, academia, government research, and development sectors are all welcome to the ICAST 2021.
