EAI ICAST 2024 conference is designed in such a way to address societal problems and it is a platform for scientists and engineers from different background come together and discuss. More generally, the conference scope is on the advancement of science, engineering, and technology towards sustainable development.

ICAST 2024 have seven Main tracks:
Track 1: AI, Machine Learning, and its Applications
This track is intended to meet the needs of a wide range of AI researchers in academic and industrial research. It covers a range of issues from the tools and languages of artificial intelligence (AI) to philosophical implications of both theoretical and experimental research, as well as surveys and impact studies. It also focuses on the practical application of AI, machine learning and its subcategories in various domains such as health, education, agriculture, tourism, trade, governance, etc.
Track 2: Advances in Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering
Research topics include, but are not limited to: Robotics, industrial automation and control system, Electrical machines control and drives, Power electronics, Power generation, transmission and distribution systems, High voltage and HVDC transmission , Micro grid and smart grid technologies, Wireless communication, Computer networks and data communication, Computer system architecture, Real time systems, Mobile computing and communication, Space and satellite communication, Network and data security , VLSI and microelectronic circuits , Integrated circuits and Embedded systems, Signal systems and processing, Wireless sensor networks, Sensors and sensor technologies , Smart grid communication, Electronics and instrumentation.
Track 3: Advancements in Manufacturing and Mechanization Systems
Thematic areas in this track include but not limited to Production and Manufacturing Systems, Mechanization systems, Fluid mechanics and thermal systems, Mechanics of materials, Automotive design, Machine design and development, product and system design, Automation and control systems, Controls and robotics, Mechatronics, System Dynamics and Control, Quality and Reliability Engineering, Human Factors/Ergonomics, Service Systems, Systems Analysis and optimization, Computational Engineering, Inventory System Design, Maintenance system, indigenous mechanical technologies, Digitalization and Innovation Leadership, and other areas related to mechanical and industrial engineering area will also be considered.
Track 4: Advances in Materials Science and applications
Under this track, experimental, theoretical, and computational research results, methods and technical reports on Advance in Materials Science and Technology can be considered. It should be noted that this field of research is deeply engaged in developing innovative solutions to some of the world’s most important and challenging problems related to advances in Materials Science and its applications. With attention given to all types of materials, properties, processes, and applications, we focus on the linkage between new attainable material functionality and the associated advanced technologies and engineered systems. The following are some of specific thematic areas of priority; advanced manufacturing and materials processing; biomaterials and bio-inspired materials; functional materials and their behavior; materials for energy storage, conversion, and transmission; structural materials; soft materials, composites, and coatings.
Track 5: Process Industries for Sustainable Development

Track 6: Renewable and Green Energy Technologies
Topics and technical areas of interest include but are not limited to the following: Renewable (green) energy systems and sources as (wind, hydropower, solar, biomass, biofuel, geothermal, wave, tidal, & ocean), hydrogen & fuel cells, energy storage, solar thermal energy, nuclear energy, energy materials, energy-saving technology, energy-efficient lighting technologies, new energy vehicles, gasification, green energy systems, CO2 capture storage and utilization, energy conversion systems, energy policies & economics, photovoltaic systems and photocatalysis, and emerging technologies.
Track 7: Sustainable Infrastructure and Built Environment

Publication
All papers from Track 1 (AI, Machine Learning, and its Applications) and Track 2 (Advances in Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering) will be submitted for publication in EAISICC.
All papers from Track 3 to Track 7 will be submitted for publication in Green Energy and Technology.
All registered papers will be submitted for publishing by Springer and made available through SpringerLink Digital Library.
Proceedings will be submitted for inclusion in leading indexing services, such as Web of Science, Compendex, Scopus, DBLP, EU Digital Library, IO-Port, MatchSciNet, Inspec and Zentralblatt MATH.
All accepted authors are eligible to submit an extended version in a fast track of:
- EAI Endorsed Transactions on Energy Web (Scopus, Compendex)
By paying an additional $150, authors can publish their articles in the EAI Endorsed Transactions journal selected by the conference (Scopus and Ei-indexed).
The article’s publication is subject to the following requirements:
– It must be an extended version of the conference paper with a different title and abstract. In general, 30% of new content must be added.
– The article will be processed once the conference proceedings have been published.
– The article will be processed using the fast-track option.
– Once the conference proceedings are published, the corresponding author should contact us at [email protected] with the details of their article to begin processing.

Paper submission
Papers should be submitted through EAI ‘Confy+‘ system, and have to comply with the Springer format (see Author’s kit section).
- Regular papers should be up to 12-15+ pages in length.
- Short papers should be 6-11 pages in length.
All conference papers undergo a thorough peer review process prior to the final decision and publication. This process is facilitated by experts in the Technical Program Committee during a dedicated conference period. Standard peer review is enhanced by EAI Community Review which allows EAI members to bid to review specific papers. All review assignments are ultimately decided by the responsible Technical Program Committee Members while the Technical Program Committee Chair is responsible for the final acceptance selection.
